I'm having some troubles with this expressions
I am doing my English homework and I don`t know if these expressions are correct:
1-Is it ok to say "A huge audience with high expectations was there to enjoy..." ?
2- Is this phrase correct? "I aprecciate the presents and the excellent event in which I could participate"
I really need help with this! Thanks!Sorry the title is wrong. I was going to write "..with this expression" I didn't notice the mistake

Both are okay to say, but on the second one, if the speaker is at a formal event, they might change and add words to their speaking; for example, "I appreciate these beautiful presents, and I am so honored to have the opportunity to participate in such a wondrous event such as this..."
it's fine to simply say, "I appreciate the presents and the excellent event in which I can participate"

the first one is fine
the second one sounds like it should be past tense.
"I aprecciated the presents and the excellent event in which I participated"
