Is this correct, 'I thought this trip was unforgettable'?
I'm writing a passage about my unforgettable trip. So it goes like: Last summer I had a trip...'I thought this trip was unforgettable'.
Should I use the present tense to summarize since it's also how I feel about trip now? 'I think this trip is unforgettable.'
Thanks!

You could just say
"Last summer I had a trip that was truly unforgettable"
"Last summer I had an unforgettable trip"
"Last summer I had a trip. It was unforgettable!"
"I remember it like it was yesterday"
If you really want to say it, I think "I think this trip was unforgettable" but it sounds a bit clumsy.
"It was unforgettable" is more natural.

if you use "thought" then it implies that you do not think so anymore.
