What is the difference between do you ever and have you ever? For example: Do you ever cook? Have you ever cooked? Can I use both? Thanks in advance!!

"Do you ever" would be followed by a verb in the present tense: "Do you ever go camping?" "Have you ever" would be followed by a verb in the past tense: "Have you ever gone camping?" "Do you ever" is future-oriented. It is a question about your habits, your customs, your likes. If you answer "yes," it might be followed by an invitation to do it. "Have you ever" is past-oriented. It is a specific question about what you've done before. For example, here are some possible conversations: "Do you ever go camping?" "Yes, in summertime when the weather is good. I have a tent and a sleeping bag." "It's supposed to be warm this weekend. Would you like to go camping in the White Mountains and see the fall foliage?" "Do you ever go camping?" "Absolutely not. I hate camping." "Have you ever gone camping?" "No, never. I'd like to try, but I don't have the equipment and don't know how." "Have you ever gone camping?" "Not since I was a kid." "I see that the outing club is going camping this weekend. Is it too late to sign up and come along?" "It's not too late, but it's going to be wilderness camping. Have you ever gone wilderness camping before? "No, never." "It might not be the best choice for your first trip. We're doing an easier trip next weekend."
