- 1.) The cytoplasm within the cell is extended to produce dendrons, each OF which has a number of long fine structures called dendrites. 2.) It is correct as you wrote it. 3.) An echocardiogram is an ultrasound shows the size of the heart and how the blood is moving through it. (The antecedent of "it" is clear from semantics. But I would not phrase it this way; this sounds like a high school student. If you are in university, your teacher should be modeling university level English work for you.) 4.) No need to re-write the example. But if I follow your model, "Until have they had three doses, babies may NOT be fully protected."Проголосовало: 018 июня 2017 г.1
Which one is the right?
As a slogan on a poster I would prefer "SUCCESS: it is how hard work is named", or "SUCCESS: that is how hard work is named"
As a sentence in an essay I would prefer: "Success is how hard work is named."
In Spanish, as you know, often "it" is not expressed, and in general Spanish is a "pro-drop" language, but English is decidedly less so. Re-using the pronoun in the first example to stand again for the antecedent "success" makes it more emphatic. In the second instance, we are only defining the word "success" as you see it.So... the short answer is that it depends on context, and these two examples are not really clear cut. However, discounting exceptional cases, English does not usually drop the subject of a sentence. So if you require a neuter pronoun, use "it" in place of a known antecedent. "I have a car." "It is red." We cannot use only "Is red." for the second sentence.

The best book is one that is available to you in your local librería o biblioteca. But If you can order by mail then... 3.) Murphy's for a grammar written in inglés, or "Gramática De La Lengua Inglesa"/Taylor en español.Проголосовало: 06 июня 2017 г.1
- "Would" can be construed as a subjunctive form which express inherent doubt. So your first sentence connotes that you may or may not do the action contemplated. The second sentence, "will" is indicative future, and specifies what will happen. In other words, there is little doubt that the action will be realized. And since you question the finer points of these verbs, why not take the opportunity to clean up your orthography. Poor orthography always reflects negatively on the author, even more so than semantics. This is because orthography is taught from age 8 up, so it is considered a fundamental skill. Whereas in some cases, the semantics you question can rise to the university level. "I thought I would keep my closest family members, and get rid of the ones I don't really talk to, like people I met for one or two dates." [Cleaned orthography, use more conventional phrasing]Проголосовало: 06 июня 2017 г.1
- To me "[people] are socialized in different ways" typically is used to mean that people are socialized differently developmentally, rather than that they "play different social roles in the society". So for example, humor that appeals to a certain cultural group may not appeal to another, or that humor that is targeted to a certain class of people may not appeal to another. It is not dependent on their role in society, rather their upbringing and peer group. [Humor or "humour" as you spell it]Проголосовало: 01 июня 2017 г.0
- Mr. Yan is one of the musical performers of contemporary China, who DURING AN EARLIER PERIOD did AN art exchange with western countries. As early as 1980s, he held the “Yan Shou Ping Peking Opera VIOLIN Symphony Concert” in Beijing, ushering IN the musical performance BY combining THE Peking Opera VIOLIN with western musical instruments.Проголосовало: 023 мая 2017 г.0
- With this in mind, in 1998, he was planning to establish a Peking Opera troupe, which consisted OF the idea of Mr. Yan Shou’ping, the Peking Opera FIRST VIOLINIST-or-CONCERTMASTER, FOCUSING on THE Peking Opera's study and talent cultivation. A "fiddle" is not an instrument used in an orchestra, it is called a "violin". When asked what is the difference between a fiddle and a violin, the standard response is, "The nut at the end of the bow." That is a word-play, which indicates that the player is the only difference.Проголосовало: 023 мая 2017 г.1
- "The sports center has everything imaginable, e.g..." then continue with a partial list of the facilities/equipment/sports offered. This is the best semantics to describe "completo". You could write: "The sports center is complete." But for most people that would imply only that the construction is finished, unless you added more context.Проголосовало: 023 мая 2017 г.0
