I am absolutely thrilled because starting today, I have a wonderful five-day weekend that stretches all the way until next Tuesday. It feels like the perfect opportunity to take a break from my daily routine, relax, and completely recharge my batteries. I have already made some exciting plans for the upcoming days, and I cannot wait to make the most of this special holiday. On Sunday, I am going to Yokohama Chinatown with my close friends, which is something I have been looking forward to for weeks. We are planning to walk around the vibrant streets, enjoy delicious Chinese food like steamed buns and dumplings, and take plenty of memorable photos together. After that, on Tuesday, I am going to spend some quality time with my family because we are planning to go on a big shopping trip together. We intend to visit a local shopping mall to look for some new clothes and enjoy a nice dinner at a restaurant. Having this long break gives me so much joy, and I am sure it will be a memorable and fun-filled holiday.

Last Monday, I celebrated my friends birthday. We spent time together, we had a lot of fun. We talked about many things and enjoyed our time together. I hope my friend had wonderful day. I want to celebrate again next year! On Thursday, I ate lunch at the university cafeteria with my friend. I had eaten lunch there for a long time, so it felt a little nostalgic. We talked while eating and enjoyed our lunch together. The cafeteria was busy, but I was happy to spend time. I ate croquette curry rice, my friends ate Udon. I was worried because there also pasta. Recently, I have been busy, so it was relax and talk with my friend. I enjoyed Monday and Thursday because I spend time with my friends. I sometimes tired because of university life and part-time job, but meeting my friends, always makes me feel better. I want to make good more memories with them. I am looking forward to meeting them next week.

There was a moment when I truly felt like an adult. Recently, a friend asked if I had an item needed for her class. Fortunately, I had it and lent it to her. She was extraordinarily relieved and kindly offered to treat me to a meal as a thank you. We spent a long time deciding where to eat. In the past, we always chose cheap restaurants to save money. This time, however, we chose a traditional Japanese pub where we could order alcoholic drinks. Since we are now old enough to drink alcohol, it felt a bit strange yet exciting to make such an adult choice, and I look forward to having more opportunities like this in the future. However, unlike all-you-can-eat places, izakayas charge for each dish, making the total bill much higher than expected. On a student budget, it is hard to go there every time. Foods I ate were very delicious!

Vocab Challenge (B2) #day9

Hello, this week I feel so happy because I didn’t have a part-time job. I moved to a new house, so my previous workplace has become far away. My new workplace is between my university and my home. I will start working in November. I’m looking forward to it. On Saturday, I went to a tiramisu store that my relatives run with my grandmother. I got tiramisu with sweet potato, pistachio, Oreo, caramel, matcha, and the original flavor. They were so good. I especially like the Oreo tiramisu. I want to go there again. Today, I’m going to stay with my friend because I don’t have class tomorrow and tomorrow is Halloween! I’m going to cosplay as clowns. I’m also going to watch a movie and make milk pudding milk tea. It is a limited menu item in Hokkaido at Gong Cha. We want to drink it, so we decided to make it!

This week was very fun. First, I went to an exhibition of the original drawings of my favorite manga. I took many pictures there. I was very happy because I love this manga. I had a great time and enjoyed looking at the pictures. Also, I changed my hair color to navy blue. I did not like my old hair color, so I wanted to try something new. I really like my new hair color. I am very happy with it! I went to my club for the first time in a long time. I was very happy to see my friends again. We talked a lot and had a great time together. I want to go to my club more often. Today is the birthday of one of my close friends from another country. We are going to have a birthday party for this friend. I am very excited about it. I want to make this day special for my friend. I hope we will have a wonderful time together. I think this week is really great!

Today had a surprising start. I had a first-period class, but I woke up at 8:40! Even though I overslept, I stayed calm and prepared slowly. Luckily, I made it to class on time and marked my attendance safely. Maybe I overslept because it has been getting much colder lately. I really feel that winter is coming soon. Right now, I am studying at the library before my part-time job this evening. Since I recently registered for the TOEIC test, I am using this time to prepare. I hope I can get a higher score than last time. Balancing school, studying, and work is a bit tough, but I feel productive today. Tomorrow, I have nothing planned all day, so I am going to sleep in and relax.Actually, I had plans for tomorrow, but they got canceled, so it looks like I will be able to spend a relaxing day. I cannot wait to get a good rest!

I like shopping, so I went to Kisarazu Outlet today with my friend. I wanted to visit this place for a long time. There were many shops, and I looked at different brands. I saw a lot of cute bags and shoes. It was difficult to choose because I liked many things. After looking around for a while, I bought a cute bag and a pair of shoes. I am happy with my new things, and I want to use them soon. When we got hungry, we went to the food court and ate ramen. It was nice to sit down and have a meal after walking around so much. There were many food choices, but I wanted ramen today. After shopping, we went bowling in Kisarazu on the way home. I had not played bowling for a long time, so I was not very good. My ball did not always go where I wanted it to go. Still, it was fun to play again, and I enjoyed spending time with my friend. I had a good day today. I want to go shopping again soon and visit more shops next time.
