My classes for the second semester started again last week. I was very happy to see my friends again after a long time. We talked about what we did during the break and had a good time together. In the second semester, I have many English classes, so I want to study English harder than I did before. I especially want to improve my speaking and listening skills because they are difficult for me. I am not very good at speaking English, and sometimes I cannot understand what people say in English. Therefore, I want to practice speaking and listening as much as possible. I also want to learn more English words and expressions. I hope I can enjoy my classes and improve my English little by little. I will do my best this semester.

During summer vacation, I went to Sapporo and Tottori. In Sapporo, I ate sushi and went out for Genghis Khan. The Genghis Khan restaurant was in a place at Furano, where the surrounding nature was amazing. There were sheep, horses, and cows being raised there. On the way there and back, I used Narita Airport for the first time. It was bigger than Haneda Airport, but there weren’t many shops. In Tottori, I went to a famous sushi chain and visited a waterfall. I’m glad I was able to have such a fulfilling summer vacation, hanging out with friends and going out to eat. I’m going to do my best in the classes that are about to start,

School has started again, and honestly, I feel so depressed about it. During the vacation, I knew this day would come, but I still wasn’t ready. I don’t hate my classes, but waking up early and thinking about assignments already makes me tired. I feel like my brain is still in vacation mode. Maybe it will get better after a few weeks, but right now I just want to go back to my free days. On the other hand, I bought a bag called “notabag” recently, and it was a really nice buy. Maybe it is my best purchase of this year so far. I didn’t expect a bag to make me this happy, but I like using it more than I thought. When I have to go to school, at least I can take my new bag with me. It doesn’t make school exciting, of course, but it makes leaving home a little less annoying.

During Silver Week, I spent time with my family. First, we visited my grandmother. We talked together and had a meal at her house. After that, we went to my relative’s house. There were a cat and a dog, so I played with them for a while. I also spent some time with my relatives. On the day we went home, it rained very heavily because of a typhoon. We had to be careful because of the bad weather. The next day, I had a part-time job. It was the busiest day I have ever had at work. I was very busy from the beginning to the end of my shift. The following day, I went to Shibuya to take a test. I studied a little before the test and then went home after it.

This week was Silver Week in Japan. I worked for seven days at my part-time job. It was very hard, but I finished all seven days without abreak. After that, I had a lot of time to rest. On Saturday, I went to the Tone River in Ibaraki Prefecture to see fireworks. This was the fourth fireworks event I went to this year. The fireworks were very beautiful. I enjoy watching them every year. On Sunday, I met my friend who came from Nagoya. I had not seen my friend for one month, so I was very happy to see my friend again. On September 22 and 23, I stayed at my friend’s house in Saitama. We made some sweets together and ate them. It was very fun. I had a great Silver Week.
