こんにちは！Atsushiです。
昨日、大阪から北海道に帰ってきました。

大阪はまだまだ30℃以上で蒸し暑かったですが、北海道は特に朝と夜は涼しいです。今は19℃です。

今日は北海道のベストシーズンについて。
私は今年、3カ月前ぐらいに北海道へ引っ越してきたばかりです。ですので、北海道のベストシーズンがいつかは知りませんでした。

知り合いの話によると、この9月ぐらいがベストシーズンだそうです。私が引っ越してきた6月は思っていたよりも寒く驚きました。この9月も涼しいですが、6月の方が寒かった記憶があります。

雪が降りはじめるまでに北海道の遠いところへ行きたいと考えています。それで、来週は北海道の網走(あばしり)というところに妻と行ってきます。

網走は、北海道の東の端に近い場所にあります。札幌からだと330キロぐらい離れています。
そして、明治時代から刑務所(けいむしょ)があります。
こちらは現在も使われている刑務所です。
今も1,500人ほどの受刑者がいるようです。

その近くには、刑務所の博物館があります。
日本一脱獄が困難な刑務所と言われていて、マンガ、ゴールデンカムイという作品にも重要な場所として出てきます。

個人的に大好きなマンガなので、この刑務所の博物館に行けるのは、とても楽しみです。

近くには湖がいくつかあります。
有名な摩周湖(ましゅうこ)、阿寒湖(あかんこ)などがありますので、時間があれば、そこにもいこうと思います。

夜には、阿寒湖の近くで、夜に森に行くカムイルミナ、というものもあります！それにも行く予定です。
