In this episode we are going to learn 【I’m busy】in Chinese.

As a beginner, there're some vocabularies that you didn't learn before, and native speaker's speed seems too fast to understand. But don't worry, let's do it step by step. 
1st time: listen and catch the words you know already, have a guess about the content.
2nd time: look at the text to check if you guessed it right. 
3rd time: listen one more time, repeat after it.
4th time: practice until you can speak as the normal speed without looking at the text.

我的工作很忙。
wǒ de gōng zuò hěn máng 。
My work is very busy.
星期一到星期五我要上班。
xīng qī yī dào xīng qī wǔ wǒ yào shàng bān 。
I need to work from Monday to Friday.
7点前能下班，我就和朋友吃饭。
qī diǎn qián néng xià bān ， wǒ jiù hé péng yǒu chī fàn 。
If I can get off work before 7 o'clock, I will have dinner with my friends.
7点前不能下班，我就不能和朋友吃饭。
qī diǎn qián bù néng xià bān ， wǒ jiù bù néng hé péng yǒu chī fàn 。
If I can't get off work before 7 o'clock, I can't have dinner with my friends.
星期六和星期日我不用上班，可以和朋友见面。
xīng qī liù hé xīng qī rì wǒ bú yòng shàng bān ， kě yǐ hé péng yǒu jiàn miàn 。
I don't have to go to work on Saturdays and Sundays, can meet up with friends.
明天星期六，可是我要加班，不能和朋友见面了。
míng tiān xīng qī liù ， kě shì wǒ yào jiā bān ， bù néng hé péng yǒu jiàn miàn le 。
Tomorrow is Saturday, but I have to work overtime, can't meet my friends.

昨天是星期六，上午我和爸爸、妈妈去商店买东西，我们买了衣服、菜、水果、也买了八个杯子，杯子很小很漂亮。我很喜欢。商店前面有一个宠物医院，很多人带着小狗去看医生。我的同学也在那儿，我问他，这是你的小狗吗？我的同学说“是的，它叫钱钱，它昨天和今天不吃也不喝，我希望钱钱好起来。”
下午下雨了，我和爸爸、妈妈在家里。爸爸看书，妈妈看电视，我学习汉语。我喜欢学汉语，你呢？

Vol.51 日本旅行物語 4 Reading Practice Japan Travel Story 4

[前回より]   私は店員から二つのおにぎりとレシートを受け取ると自分のカバンに入れた。店内を見回すと客は私だけのようだ。それから店を出ると男が一人店の前の横に座っていた。


その男は気分が悪そうだ、顔を下に向けている。
そして、静かにゆっくり呼吸をしている。
私はその男が心配になったので、声をかけることにした。


私　「大丈夫ですか？」

男　「、、、、、」

私　「あの〜、だいじょうぶですか？」

男　「うっ、う〜ん。少しお酒を飲みすぎたみたい、気分がわるいけど、だいじょうぶ。あっ、ありがとう。　コンビニにあったレモン缶のお酒を500ml2本飲んだんだ。一気に飲んだから酔いが急に回ったみたいだ。おにいさん、水持っている？」

私　「　あっ、水ですか、これ新しいのがあるから飲んでください、あげます」

男　「お〜、助かるわ〜」

男は私が渡したペットボトルの水をゆっくり飲み始めた。それから、大きく深呼吸をした。

I took the two rice balls and the receipt from the clerk and put them in my bag. I looked around the store and I seemed to be the only customer. Then I left the store and saw a man sitting next to the front of the store.


The man looks sick, his face downcast.
And he is breathing quietly and slowly.
I was worried about him, so I decided to speak to him.


Me - "Are you okay?"

The man "、、、、、"

Me - "Um, are you okay?"

The guy "Ummm. I think I drank a little too much alcohol, I don't feel well, but I'm fine. Oh, thank you.　I drank two 500 ml bottles of lemon canned alcohol that I found at a convenience store. I drank them all at once, so I feel like I'm getting drunk too fast. Do you have any water?

I "Oh, water? I have a new one, please drink it, I'll give it to you.

The guy "Oh, thank you very much.

The man slowly began to drink from the plastic bottle I handed him. Then he took a deep breath.
