Ayer: yesterday
Mejor amigo: best friend
Casa: house
Hacía mucho que no los veía: its been a while since I saw them
Fue una larga pandemia: the pandemic was long
Haber: to be (hay)
Comida: food
Tacos: Mexican food
Carne: meat
Pollo: chicken
Cerdo: pork
Vegetales: vegatables
Vegetariano: vegetarian
Queso: cheese
Me gusta mucho: I like a lot
Salsa: sauce
Agua de limón: lemonade
Refresco: soda (you can also say soda, some parts of latin America do so)
Pastel: cake
Velas: candles
Encender: to light up (encendidas)
Cantar: to sing (cantamos)
Mañanitas: Mexican song we sing at birthday like happy birthday but longer. Look it up its really nice and traditional.
Apagar: turn of (apaga)
Aplaudir: to clap (aplaudimos)
Partir: to cut (partimos)
Mi favorito: my favorite
Música: music
Bailar: to dance (bailamos)
Divertirse: to have fun (divertí)
