こんにちは～！マルハバ！サウジの日本語の先生、佳子です＾＾
みなさんー！元気ですかー？サウジは先週あたりから日中の最高気温が33℃くらいになり、4時くらいから公園に行けるようになりました！昨日と今日は私が住んでいる地域で久しぶりに雨が降ったんですよ！おそらく、雨は4月からほとんど降っていなかったので、本当に久しぶりです。
今日は「雨の日」について話したいと思います。
サウジでも地域によって違うと思いますが、私が住んでいる地域では、4月から10月の夏の時期にはほとんど雨が降りません。雨は12月から2月に時々降ります。雷を伴う豪雨はあまりないと思います。サウジ人の夫の感覚によると、1.5か月に1回くらいの頻度で雷が鳴るらしいです。めったにないですが、地域によっては洪水が起こる場所もあります。
サウジ人の生徒さんによると、雨は珍しいので、多くのサウジ人は雨が好きです。彼は雨が降るとドライブに行くのが好きとのこと。日本人とは逆ですね。多くの日本人は雨の日があまり好きじゃないです。なぜかというと、日本人は通学や通勤などでバスや電車などの公共交通機関を利用することが多いのですが、バス停や駅まで行くのに濡れたりするからです。また公共交通機関が混んだり、遅れたりするからです。洗濯物を外に干すのは普通なのですが、雨の場合は外に干せません。私が日本に住んでいた時は天気がいいときは外に干していましたが、6-9月に雨が降ると湿度が高く、部屋干しも大変でした。たまに雨が降るのはいいのですが、さすがに週に4日以上雨が降ると気がめいってきます。
一方、私の息子は雨の日も好きでした。雨の日、雨がやんでいたり、小雨の時は、幼稚園の帰りに長靴をはいて、水たまりを歩いたり、ジャンプするのが恒例でした。私は雨の日は嬉しくなかったですが、水たまりで遊ぶ息子の無邪気な笑顔を見ると癒されました。

「私は日本人です。彼”も” 日本人です」
の”も” じゃないですか？

はい、これはまあかんたんですよね。「何々”も”何々です」。で、えー、”みんなの日本語”の 37課で実はちがう”も” をならっているんですよ。 知らないでしょ？”みんなの日本語” を使っていた生徒（せいと）も 知らないでしょう。

えーっとですね、37課のですね。103ページの7にえー 書いてあるんですよ。じゃちょっと読みますね。103ページ7の下から2行目 the second line from the bottomですね。
・とうしょうぐうには ネズミが1匹（いっぴき）もいません

『1 〇〇 もない』 1〇〇＋もない(negative)　ですね。えーこれはですねえー 
・とうしょうぐうには ネズミがいません。

と同じ意味（いみ）です。同じ意味ですが。えー０、いませんどこ行ってもいません。いませんいませんいませんと強く言っているんですね。

分かりますか。えーここは、数字（すうじ）ナンバーは1ですよ。うん、 2も使う時もあるかもしれないですけど、うん2345、あまり使わないです。1です。うん、 はいじゃ他の使い方もちょっと見てみましょう。えー

Ａ：（Bさんが）たくさんテスラを持っていると聞きました。
Ｂ：いやいや、【　　】も持っていませんよ。

テスラはアメリカの車ですよ。自動車うん、electric carですね。えーここの カッコ bracketsに何が入りますか。これ『1台』ですね。
うん、Bさんがびっくりしました。「たくさんテスラを持っていると聞きました」と言われて、Bさんがびっくりして。 「いやいや、1台も持っていませんよ。0ですよ。000ですよ」。と言ってるんですね。

「1円も持っていない」 ですね。はい、どうでしたか。 
ええ、37か、これ日本語の先生、みんなの日本語を教えている先生も 気がついてない人もけっこういるんじゃないでしょうか。うん、はいえーっと

おー最後（さいご）のですね、「1円も持っていない」。 えー今日ですね。えー。生徒とレッスンをしていて、これをやったんですけども、えーと、 途中（とちゅう）までそう、「彼はもう1台も持っていませんよ」「1枚も持っていないよ」はわかったんですけど、最後の「この1円も持っていない」がわからなかったんですね。「10円も持っていない」 とか言ったんですが、えい、これは1円も持っていないですよ。と言ったら、彼が 
「え？日本に1円はないですよね？」と言うんですね、はいええ、私が旅行に行った時、1円は見ませんでした。と言われたんですが、1円はありますよ。日本に 1円、5円、10円があります。はいえー、どうでしたか。

In this story, a snowman named Jingle is a selfish husband whose job is more important than his marriage. This is Part 4 of 5. 

The dance group had met in the morning for a quick rehearsal. Today was their last day to practice before the big show. 

Even though the other dancers commented that it was already good enough, Jingle and the winking snowwoman worked very hard on their close embrace. 

Then, while everyone was packing up, getting ready to go distribute their flyers… 

Ding-ding ding-ding 

The ringing came from behind Jingle. He said, “Ugh… Doesn’t Candy know how stressed I am? What does she want now?” 

He turned, but instead of his wife, he saw his snowman neighbour. Confused, Jingle went over to talk. 

“You look disturbed,” said Jingle. 

“It’s Candy. She’s been hit by a car.” 

Jingle was shocked. He noticed the neighbour was holding a candy cane. 

“This is her cane. I picked it up after the accident. I immediately called an ambulance and she was taken straight to the hospital. It’s bad, Jingle, really bad. Come with me, let’s go together.” 

Jingle hesitated. He looked at the candy cane, then at the dance group in the distance. Then back at the candy cane. 

“Thank you for bringing me this. But I can’t go with you. I’ve got to distribute these flyers today. It’s our last chance, and the whole group is counting on me. They need me. Tell Candy I’ll be there after work.”
