はい、こんにちは。今回はポッドキャストのシーズン３の３回目です。やっと新しいパソコンが届きました。上海の工場からだったので、注文してから届くまで２週間かかりました。 新しいパソコンは動作がとても早くて便利です。一度にたくさんのアプリケーションを開くことができます。レッスンがやりやすくなりました。

Hello. This is episode 3 of season 3 of my podcast. I finally got a new computer. It was from a factory in Shanghai, so it took two weeks from the time I ordered it until it arrived. The new computer is very fast and convenient. I can open many applications at once. It makes it easier for me to do my lessons.

新しいパソコンが届く前に、ワイヤレスイヤホンを買いました。新しいパソコンを買った時にもらったギフトカードを使ったので、払ったのは800円だけでした。私は今まで有線のイヤホンを使っていました。有線とは、コードがあることです。今までは有線のイヤホンのほうが便利だと思っていました。充電も接続も必要ないからです。だけどワイヤレスイヤホンを使ってみると、コードが邪魔だったことに気づきました。とくに運動をするときは、ワイヤレスの方が集中できます。

I bought wireless earbuds before my new computer arrived. I used a gift card I got when I bought my new computer, so all I paid was 800 yen. I had been using yuusen earphones. Yuusen means “with a cord”. I used to think that earphones with a cord were more convenient. Because I don't need to charge or connect them. But when I started using wireless earphones, I realized that the cords were in the way. Especially when I exercise, I can concentrate better with wireless earphones.

新しいイヤホンはカナル型です。カナル型は、イヤーピースがついたイヤホンです。中学生の時はカナル型を使っていましたが、最近はずっとインナーイヤー型を使っていました。インナーイヤー型は、イヤーピースのないイヤホンです。プラスチックの部分を直接耳に入れるイヤホンです。カナル型のイヤホンは周りの音が聞こえにくいので、外で使うのは危ないと思っていました。だけど実際に使ってみると、インナーイヤー型とあまり変わりません。そして、音質がとてもいいです。

Persuasion shouldn't be avoided. It's a good thing. Businesses need to be persuasive.  Whether it's securing a new client, rallying a team, or negotiating a deal, the ability to influence and inspire action is paramount. 

The good news? Persuasion isn't about manipulation. It's about understanding your audience and crafting messages that resonate with their needs and goals. Here's how to hone your persuasive communication skills:

Tailor your message to resonate with the specific interests and motivations of your audience. Research their background, challenges, and communication style. 

People care about how something improves their situation.  Instead of listing features, explain how your product or service solves a specific problem or fulfills a desired outcome. 

Back up your claims with credible statistics, case studies, and testimonials. Data adds weight to your arguments and builds trust. 

Weave compelling narratives that illustrate your points and connect with your audience on an emotional level. Stories are memorable and foster empathy. 

Persuasion is a two-way street. Pay close attention to your audience's concerns and questions. Address them directly and demonstrate your willingness to understand their perspective.

Avoid jargon and technical terms. Use strong verbs, active voice, and concise language to ensure your message is easily understood. 

Speak with conviction and enthusiasm. Projecting confidence makes your arguments more believable and inspires trust. 

Your body language and tone of voice play a significant role in persuasion. Make eye contact, maintain good posture, and speak with a clear, steady voice. 

Clearly articulate the action you desire from your audience. Do you want them to sign a contract, invest in a project, or simply consider your point of view?

We know a lot of jobs can be done remotely, an arrangement we often call "working from home."

But we also know that working remotely may not mean actually working at home — people work in libraries, in their cars and in cafes.

Many of us like working in the nice atmosphere of a coffee shop. But some cafe and bar owners have had enough of remote workers using their tables.

Some have banned laptops and turned off their Wi-Fi, while others have begun asking remote workers to pay to use the space.

Owners have complained that some people buy one coffee and work in their cafe for up to eight hours, or ask for the music to be turned down so they can have meetings online.

Peter Duran runs a coffee shop in Berlin. He doesn't have Wi-Fi and doesn't let people use laptops. He told Barista Magazine: "We want to be a place where people come to meet each other or be alone, but leave the stress of work outside."

And it's not just about the atmosphere of the place. Remote workers aren't good for business, says Duran, since they spend much less per hour than he pays his workers.

Of course, remote workers themselves don't agree.

On TikTok, one worker said if you pay $8 for a coffee you should be able to choose how you spend your time in a cafe.

However, with so many people working remotely, towns and cities around the world have begun opening remote working spaces where people can work without annoying any cafe owners.

今天想和大家聊一聊职场的话题。如果你的领导和你说辛苦了，你应该怎么回答呢？如果你是领导，你更喜欢什么样的回答呢？杨天真是公司的老板，我们来听听她的建议吧。
当领导或者长辈跟你说辛苦了，你该怎么回答才能把这个话聊下去呢？给你几个高情商的应对方案。我们大多数人听到领导说辛苦了，第一反应回答说，唉不辛苦不辛苦。其实呢领导说辛苦了，一方面也是客气，一方面也是你工作的肯定，他也是想表达一种感谢。所以这个答案呢根据你领导的类型，不同类型的领导应该给与不同的回答方案。
第一，你的领导如果比较注重权威，是一个比较有官威的领导。那这种领导呢其实就是要你懂得感恩，知道TA给了你一个工作机会，所以你就回答TA说：“谢谢领导给与这个机会让我锻炼，我确实通过这个机会成长了不少。这点辛苦跟收获比起来其实不算什么，我会好好继续努力的。”那么领导就会有一种大满足的感觉，觉得我果然选对人了。
第二呢就是老师型的领导。有一种领导呢，其实TA是比较好为人师的，很愿意指导你。那么遇到这种领导的时候，你可以这么回答：“谢谢领导的关心。其实呢，我把我这次工作已经总结成文字了，有一些我做得好的地方和一些做得不好的地方。甚至呢，我还想象了一下，可能未来我们能怎么做，有一个方案给您。你要得空的话，可以给我指导指导。”这样呢，领导就会觉得哇这小孩子真不错，既对当下有总结，还对未来有规划，同时很尊重自己的意见。这样你能创造跟领导的进一步的交流机会。
第三呢，还有一种领导是比较和蔼的，喜欢跟员工打成一片。遇到这样的领导呢，你就可以这样回复：“谢谢领导的认可。其实不光我辛苦，所有的小伙伴都挺帮忙的，要不然看在大家这么努力的份上，您请大家搓顿饭吧。”这种调侃式呢，比较受用于这种和蔼的领导。TA会觉得你这个小朋友不贪功，知道团队的作用。那他也许就趁机搞了个团建活动等等。这都是一种比较好的促进和蔼型领导跟大家打成一片，更认可你的方法。以上，你学会了吗？
