Morning at Home: Alarms, Showers and Getting Ready | Real American English #156
描述
Mornings at home are fast, and so is the English. Learners often know the textbook words, like "I will take a shower now," but they don't catch "I'm gonna hop in the shower" or "I hit snooze, like, three times." Many also translate directly: "I make a shower," "I wash my teeth," "I wear my clothes now." This episode follows one invented family through a busy morning. You will learn the morning verbs, hear them in a real scene, and decode every line, including the reductions that make morning English so quick.
In this episode:
• Morning words
• The scene, part one
• The scene, part two
• Reductions in context
• More morning phrases
• Practice
• Self-check questions with answers
