描述
You can practise single sounds for weeks and still feel that something is not quite British. Often the reason is not one sound but the whole position of your mouth. Every language has a home position for the lips, jaw and tongue, called a mouth posture or articulatory setting.
In this episode:
• What mouth posture means
• The british setting: jaw, lips and tongue
• Mirror drills
• Switching from your first-language setting
• How posture makes other sounds easier
• Practice
• Self-check questions with answers
