辅导教师Hello fellow language learners! 🇳🇱Today I want to share a great mnemonic trick for Dutch: 't kofschip. It helps you form the simple past and past participle of regular verbs.First, find the verb stem by removing the '-en'.Look at the very last letter of that stem.If the letter is in 't kofschip (T, K, F, S, CH, P), the ending becomes -te or -t.If it is any other letter, the ending becomes -de or -d.For example: 'maken' becomes 'maakte' (ends in K).'Leren' becomes 'leerde' (ends in R).Do you also use mnemonics to learn grammar?
