I know that males and females may have different speech patterns in Japanese, but is it very uncommon for females to speak more like males? I've noticed girls who use speech that is more common for boys to use and was wondering how uncommon this was. If you are female and speak more masculine is that seen as a bad thing? I tend to use more male speech (僕、だろう、ーだよ）while still using a lot of のs because I like the words/grammar/speech patterns. Is it okay to mix and match?
