I would probably use "I can fix things pretty well" It would have to be an adverb, since you are describing the verb, but we don't use "greatly" very often. An example I can think of using greatly would be, "I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me with this". It sounds a bit more formal.

    Korean practice.

저는 먹을 거요. 배고파요. 오늘 저는 집을 깨끗해졌어요 깨끗하게 청소했어요. 책을 읽었어요. 믈 마싰어요 물을 마셨어요

(저는 it isn't too imperative to state "I" again here, but you may if you like) 많이 안 썼어요.

*** I can't guarantee I am 100% correct, as I am still learning myself, but I am pretty decent at the language and have been learning it for 3 years now. I believe I fixed the mistakes correctly! Good job and good luck studying!

Simple sentences: A sentence structure exercise (日本語)

    1)ねこすきです。
    2)いぬとねこすきです。
    3)これはペットですか。
    4)おんがくすきです。
    5)ピアノをひきます。
    6)いいえ、パンを食べるありません → 食べません。
    7)コーヒーほしいです。
    8)スペイン語と英語がはなせます。

These are just some sentences I wrote using basic grammar. I used the dictionary but I think these are correct. Any tips are welcome!

******* There are instances where you can use は with 好き(すき) but that isn't what you would general use. Instead, you would use が. Also, です does not require an object particle, as there is no object in general です sentences, just as there isn't actually an object in English "to be" sentences as well. When conjugating verbs, there are form changes taken rather than using ある(ありません). So in this case, 食べる becomes 食べません in present/future negative polite. And lastly, ほしい can be used to say something that translates to "I want ___" in English, but in Japanese, it is actually an adjective. Because of this, it should not take を as this is to mark the object of a sentence and adjective sentences do not have objects--only subjects and topics.

    Hope that helped!!

    - I learned Korean in Busan (where there is a very well known dialect), so I can only speak from my experience. Where I am from, ~ㅆ나 is used to denote a yes or no question. "Did you eat?" -> 먹었나? "Did you go?" -> 갔나? "Is it fun?" -> 재미있나? - For your second question, as Ghye answered, it means "try" or "have a go". When said as a declarative, it means to try to do something "먹어봤나?" "Did you try it/try tasting it/try eating it?". "해볼게요" "I am going to try to do it". It can also be used as an imperative when using it to someone else. "해봐!" "Try it!" To soften a command, you can even use it twice "해봐봐" -> "Lit: Try and try it, "try doing it". - As for the diphthong question, I think it partly has to do with the fact that many diphthongs are softer and more languid in Korean than perhaps English, which leads to what you are talking about. Once again, where I live the accent was a bit different, but everyone I knew pronounced it as 바 and not 봐. - That form is used in grammar but it is also known as the written form. Words with a 받침 add 는다 in present tense. 먹는다, 읽는다, and so on. Words that end in ㄹ follow the irregular conjugation rules, and therefore the ㄹ is replaced by a ㄴ -> 살다 -> 산다. Keep in mind, this rule for written form is only followed for verbs, not for adjectives. So 멀다 (to be far) would stay as 멀다.

"This new dress fits me well", the other does not work. This is because the dress is the subject of the sentence and acts as a singular subject, which calls for the verb to be conjugated as "fits" ^^
