We the women need them to not cry, so we can feel that at least someone has still the control, someone can help, everything is going to get better. Because watching a man crying is devastating. When a man cries, you know that everything is wrong. Everything is terribly wrong. He doesn’t hold you up anymore, because he’s crying with you. And desperation is simply too overwhelming. It was odd to see him crying.
