"cut" or "cutted" WHICH IS CORRECT? I know that the verb "cut" is an irregular verb. Thus, it has the following forms: Infinitive: cut Simple Past: cut Past Participle: cut But I found sentences where "cutted" is used as an adjective. E.g. The special shape and layout of the permanent magnets allows to handle the cutted pieces. So my question is: Can "cutted" be used in particular situations? Or is it better to re-phrase the sentence and try to use "cut" instead of "cutted"? Thank you!

”Cutted" is never correct. "...to handle the cut pieces" is correct. :)

Agree with Steve; we don't use "cutted" in the US either. When I did a quick search on your example sentence, I came up with a Greek site (https://www.microsol.gr/mixanimata-cnc/magnitika-sistimata/anipsosis/200-3.html, on the bottom), so it was probably something written by a non-native speaker.
