A bit hairy
When someone calls something( let it be a pease of a programming code) “a bit hairy”, what does it mean? Is it something bad?:)

'Hairy' is used informally to mean difficult, dangerous or frightening. For example, a fast descent down a steep winding mountain road might be referred to as 'a bit hairy'.
If someone used it to describe a piece of programming code, I'd presume it meant problematic in some way. Difficult to use or full of bugs, perhaps.
