In Spanish, when we talk about parts of the body, we usually do NOT use possessive adjectives (my, your, his…). Why? Because Spanish already shows possession with a reflexive pronoun (me, te, le…). ❌ Incorrect Me duele mi cabeza Me lavo mis dientes ✅ Correct Me duele la cabeza Me lavo los dientes 👉 The reflexive pronoun me already means my. 🧠 Think about it like this: Me duele la cabeza = My head hurts Saying mi cabeza sounds unnatural or excessive in Spanish.
___ duele la espalda.
