I just signed up for October Language Challenge 2014 I am so excited to finally get a chance to learn Spanish the October Language Challenge. I am an absolute beginner in the Spanish language and I hope to find a very patient teacher who can get me started. My goals are the following: 1. To be able to move up from Absolute Beginner to Elementary level and I am able to go beyond that level, I'd be very happy! 2. I would like to initially learn how to introduce myself, learn basic phrases for directions and food, and food and food (oh! well, I love food, that is.) 3. I would like to be able to pronounce Spanish words correctly (there are a couple of sounds I couldn't really make). So that's about it! So, why not jump in?

Help from people around the world for Filipinos I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the people in the world who extended, are extending and will extend help to the Filipino nation. We are once again devastated due to the super typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda). Many were confirmed dead and countless were missing. Few weeks ago, two large provinces (Cebu and Bohol) were hit by a magnitude 7.2 earthquake and just few days ago, Haiyan washed away dreams and hopes of the Filipinos in another two large provinces (Samar and Leyte). Haiyan (signal #4), the strongest typhoon in world history, left nothing but rubbles and crumbles. Regardless of the differences in culture, religion and language, we feel the love and concern of those people we don't even know. Thank you for your help and for your prayers. May you continue to prosper and be blessed.

My Availability To my students and language partners: I am sorry everyone for messing up with the scheduled classes. I recently changed my job and I had to undergo product trainings and assessments. It will take 5 weeks to complete such. I currently have erratic schedule, which means, my schedule changes every now and then so I really cannot figure out my availability.
