When I first started lessons with Karen, I found that I was constantly translating every word. However, Karen encouraged me to just speak without fear of making mistakes and after a few lessons, I was speaking a lot more fluently and naturally. In our lessons we discuss everything from hobbies/interests, culture, history to current affairs, which keeps every lesson fun and interesting and develops my broader vocabulary. I would recommend Karen to any learner who is looking to develop their Spanish to the next level, have natural conversations and gain confidence when speaking Spanish. Karen was great! During our first lesson today, Karen asked me lots of questions and was very patient and professional. She supported me with some vocabulary and helped me with some verbs as I needed them. I was impressed too because I know that Karen speaks English; however, she only spoke to me in Spanish for the whole class! Thanks Karen. Highly recommended.
