Teaching Chinese is something I genuinely enjoy. I love history, classical poetry, how characters evolved, traditional clothing. These find their way into lessons naturally—not just memorizing, but opening a door into a world with warmth and stories. I hold a degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Chongqing Normal University. I've taught over 500 hours across different platforms since I started one-on-one tutoring in university—plenty of practical experience. Lessons aren't dry. I use games, role-plays, and cultural moments to keep things light. Learning the character for tea might involve simulating Gongfu brewing—language becomes something you feel. I tailor lessons to your level, from absolute beginner to intermediate. My main areas: rapid speaking improvement, HSK 1–6 prep, and fun classes for kids. For children, character adventures and games; for adults, role-plays and real discussions. We'll talk about your goals first, then move at your pace. What matters most is helping you express yourself steadily. So we emphasize speaking from day one—conversation, shadowing for pronunciation, regular review. Each lesson: vocabulary in real contexts, tones in real speech, simple practical grammar. I'll correct you clearly and gently. Step by step, until your Chinese comes out steady, natural, and at ease.

I have some experience with Mandarin, but haven't practiced in a while. The teacher came prepared based on what I requested and she adjusted the class as she learnt more about my level.
