I've taken 4 free talking lessons so far with Hoorimi in preparation for a Korea trip in a couple weeks, and I've enjoyed them so much! I self studied my way through two textbooks a while ago so I'm super rusty on grammar and vocab. She is really encouraging and chill, and super patient in letting you come up with the word you're taking forever to remember. In prep for my trip, we've focused on practical situations that I might run into while abroad (complete with extremely useful roleplay), and she's even given me some local food recs based off the conversations we've had in class. Our time together has definitely inspired me to pick Korean back up more permanently and I plan to continue free talking lessons even after I've returned from Korea. If you also self study, I highly recommend adding free talking classes with Hoorimi to your learning infrastructure earlier on... doing so would have made the learning process so much better for me!

She's always fantastic! Even though I come right from work and I'm frazzled, I look forward to our lessons. The structure of the lessons is clear, simple, and beneficial. I will continue taking lessons!
