Juan is an awesome teacher. He is a very intelligent, well-read person with an encyclopedic knowledge of Mexico’s history and culture. Even more important is his amazing ability to recount various facts and stories about Mexico like one might find in a master storyteller. Additionally, he has a great sense of humor and is abundantly kind but direct whenever he corrects my Spanish. Of course, I am fascinated by the language, culture, and history of Mexico, so Juan is the perfect choice for many more lessons in the future. I am confident that I will become more capable in Spanish as well as gain more knowledge about Mexico because of Juan’s guidance.
