Halló! I'm a passionate educator with a rich academic background, holding Bachelor's degrees in both Law and Philosophy from the University of Iceland. My fascination with Chinese culture -- and the Chinese language -- led me to pursue an MA in Chinese Philosophy at Fudan University, one of the most prestigious institutions in China. Currently, I am further deepening my expertise by working towards a PhD in Chinese Philosophy at Fudan University. On the side, I teach both Icelandic and English.教学经验
I am passionate about languages and education. I have experience teaching both Icelandic and English, as well as teaching philosophy at the university level.
My teaching philosophy is centered around communication. I believe in the power of oral proficiency as a foundation for language learning, and thus, my lessons are predominantly focused on helping you become confident and fluent in speaking Icelandic. Depending on your level and preferences, I can provide a selection of books and teaching materials to best support your learning journey. My primary aim is to teach you Icelandic as it's genuinely spoken on the streets of Reykjavík.
