Hello there! I’m Lana from the Netherlands, and I love languages, music, art, and meeting people from different cultures. Since I’m also interested in language learning myself, I understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel difficult or scary. That’s why I try to make my lessons relaxed, comfortable, and enjoyable.
I’m a community tutor, so my lessons are focused on natural conversations and helping you feel more confident speaking Dutch at your own pace. I’m patient, I don’t judge mistakes, and I’m always happy to explain things again if needed. If something is unclear, I can also switch to English to help you understand better. I'm also currently studying linguistics, so I can assist you with learning new grammar points as well.
I really try to support my students as much as possible, both during and outside of lessons. If you have questions or need extra support then I’m always happy to help. I can correct you a lot during conversations or only sometimes, it completely depends on what you prefer and what helps you learn best.
During every class, I take notes with useful vocabulary, corrections, pronunciation tips, and more natural ways to say things. After the lesson, I’ll send you the document so you can review everything and keep improving between classes.
My goal is to help you feel comfortable speaking Dutch while making steady progress in a natural way. Important note: I only teach to adults.我的教学资料

I have some familiarity with Dutch and am mainly after conversation practice. Lana guided the conversation helping me by correcting my mistakes in real time and providing notes in Google docs which was very helpful. As it turned out, a word I learned in class figured prominently in a talk show I listened to on a radio Dutch station afterwards. Knowing what it meant helped me to understand the conversation. So I had results pretty quickly. Bedankt Lana!
