Sofia is a fantastic teacher, and I love lessons with her, English and Greek :)

I have no doubts that Sofia is the best teacher here on italki. I'm also a teacher myself (music). She's very professional, and she knows how to teach the language extremely well. I wouldn't be at the level that I'm at (although I still have a lot of work to do!) if it weren't for her. Thankfully, I don't have to be in Greece to get better at Greek! Thanks Sofia! :-)

Sofia is a first class teacher. She starts by giving the student reassurance that success is ahead of them. She runs a very disciplined yet encouraging lesson every time. You will learn your fundamentals and your grammar as well as the joy of speaking with your friends on everyday subjects. I have been taking lessons from her for several months and I have been very happy with the progress. A simple moment of success was going to the airline counter as an American and speaking in Greek and being told how clear I spoke and what a great accent I have. So now I believe success is ahead of me as well.
