Hello world! I'm Teacher Jhoy from the Philippines, a native Filipino speaker with a degree in Secondary Education major in English. I'm patient, goal-oriented, and committed to helping learners grow. I value sincerity and create space where you feel confident, supported and motivated. I'm an approachable teacher who builds great rapport with my students. Ever since I was a child, I've known that teaching is my true calling. After passing Licensure Examination for Teachers in 2014, I began teaching preschool and elementary students. later, I moved to secondary school, where I've been teaching language for the past 8 years. My journey in education has been filled with purpose and passion, and I always aim to make every lesson meaningful, engaging and learner-centered. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
Lesson planning and demonstration are my areas of expertise. I always make sure that every lesson is well-structured, simple and easy to follow, so learning becomes enjoyable and effective. I completed Jhoy’s Tagalog Survival Kit, and the quality is exceptional. Her PowerPoints are clear, well-structured, and make each lesson easy to follow. Everything is organized and executed with real intention. It’s obvious she puts in far more preparation than most. Her materials and teaching flow show real experience and thoughtful design. Highly recommended.

Jhoy is an excellent Tagalog teacher. She is always prompt and prepared for the lesson. Her prepared PowerPoint slides keep each lesson structured and clear, and her calm, confident presence makes learning feel easy. She explains the language with solid academic clarity but also mixes in everyday phrases and insight on when to just use english or taglish. Highly recommended and looking forward to learning more.
