Hello and welcome to my profile. My name is Brenda. I am a very open, friendly and easy going person. I always like to keep myself active, can be board games, swimming, watching movies, reading books, listening to music, eating or even sleeping. Uh-oh! I forgot to mention I love chatting and conversing, so if you are looking for not only a learning atmosphere but also different and fun conversations, then you are in the right place. I don’t easily give up and I work at a set schedule and on time to make sure I deliver my best. Swahili is my national language, which together with English I’ve been studying since grade one, as it is the norm in our Kenyan school curriculum. I am a kikuyu, raised speaking Gikuyu as my mother language.We are not all the same, so I am ready to listen and deliver my best in accordance to my student’s need. I believe patience and the will to learn are the best ingredients to great results. So come ready and let us learn and enjoy. I personally make an individual preparation for each student based on their needs and level. Building on the student’s confidence is key in my class so i engage in conversations and letting the student do most of the talking without unnecessary interruptions. I offer vocabulary, conversational, pronunciation, and grammar classes. Topics such as day-to-day conversations, numbers, formal setting dialogues alongside any other that the student prefers

The teacher is very kind. She is very patient and explains all the vocabularies that I hear for the first time, but at times she can push too much, and she remembers what I said few lessons before.
