Born in Germany and raised in Belgium, I bring a multicultural perspective to everything I do. My career in the travel industry (British Airways, Air France) sparked my love for languages and people. Alongside my studies in English, French, and German, I discovered my passion for teaching. As a qualified life coach and hypnotherapist, I enjoy helping others grow and connect. I’ve lived in six countries and speak German, English, French, Dutch, and a bit of Spanish, Portuguese, Pashto, Hebrew, and Italian. Curious about the world, fascinated by people, and always eager to learn—let’s explore German together!
My teaching style is very open minded and flexible. During the intro I find out what the students require and how committed they are to their goals. I adapt my style to theirs: with some students I will be more laid back and with the more ambitious and focused ones (my favorites) I will more actively plan ahead. Both will get links to their hobbies/profession/studies. i am known to be "living with my students" and rejoice at their success in reaching their goals be this moving to a German speaking country, taking the immigration to simply learning the language of Goethe and Theodor Fontane.
I love to research my students' hobbies and interests to create lesson plans around these. It goes without saying that people love to talk about their hobbies and including them even in classes about grammar helps. The goal is to get the student to participate and I use open questio...我的教学资料
