Hi, my name is Daisy and I am a native English speaker living in Granada, Spain. When I am not teaching I am busy taking care of my children or, like many of you visiting my profile, struggling to learn a second language. I have been studying Spanish for a long time and I am proud to have reached C1 level. My experience as a student helps make me an even better teacher.
Hola me llamo Daisy y soy nativa de Inglaterra. Vivo en Granada, España. Cuando no estoy enseñando me ocupa con mis niños, o, como muchos de ustedes, estoy luchando aprender una lengua segunda. I have several years of experience teaching in language schools and online. Each lesson is personalised for the individual, with clear objectives tailored to the goals of each student. I teach using the communicative method. This means that whenever possible YOU will be doing the talking. I will guide you to solve your own problems, rather than lecturing you. In every class you will have the opportunity to correct your own mistakes and practice any difficult language points with practical examples and exercises.

I am very organised and keep detailed records of each class. This allows teacher and student to easily track progress and revise vocabulary and grammar. Each student has a Google Doc where I keep all material and notes from each class. Please check the individual course descriptions for more details.

Daisy is the best! :) I have been having regular lessons with her for a year now and I can see my progress. The lessons fly by as they naturally transition from small talk to various tasks focused on specific vocabulary or grammar. With Daisy, you will feel at eas to speak. You will also receive valuable feedback at the end of each lesson which is very helpful! All comments and tasks are saved in a shared document that allows you to track your progress and review not only new material but also older topics. Most importantly, Daisy is a truly kind person who always supports and encourages you in your English learning journey.
