My name is Petra, and I'm really happy to be here with you all. I'm 41 years old and I have been teaching for 19 years. I teach my students Dutch, geography and history.
Outside of teaching, I have a few hobbies. I love reading books, going to new places, cooking, and meeting new people. These things bring me a lot of joy.
One thing I really love about my job is helping people get better at speaking and understanding languages. It's something I'm passionate about.
I'm excited to get to know all of you and help you learn and grow. Let's have a great time learning together!教学经验
I'm a patient and calm teacher. I'm here to help you and make you feel confident to talk Dutch.
People often say I'm friendly. That means I'm nice and easy to talk to. I'm also enthusiastic, which means I'm excited about teaching and helping you learn new things.
Respect is super important to me. I believe that if you feel respected, you'll be more likely to respect others, including me as your teacher. So, I promise to always treat you with respect.

In our class, we'll be using a book as a guide for our lessons. This book will help us explore new topics and learn important information.
I believe that practice makes perfect, so I can give you homework to reinforce what we've learned in class.
My teaching style is interactive. That means we'll be talking a lot. There will be opportunities for speaking, reading, and active listening and writing. I want our classroom to be a lively place where everyone feels comfortable participating.
During our lessons, we'll focus on vocabulary, grammar, and also learn some culture. We will make our lessons engaging, fun, and full of learning opportunities.我的教学资料

I really feel I benefit a lot from my lessons with Petra. The book we follow is perfectly chosen for my level — challenging enough to keep me progressing, but never overwhelming — which is exactly what I needed. You can clearly see she is an experienced and professional teacher, and her approach is always structured yet flexible. Petra is always very well prepared and a highly professional teacher. With her guidance it's possible to explore the finer details of the Dutch language that would otherwise remain hidden through conversation or reading alone. Her lessons are well structured and designed to deepen one's understanding of how Dutch really works.
