Elizaveta is wonderful. I recommend her to anyone who wants to learn/practice russian without any reservation. I am a professor myself, who studied russian long time ago, and was hesitant to try online to improve my russian (you can think of me as an absolute beginner now). It has only been a few lessons, and i can already see a chance and how this will really help me improve fast on my russian. And this is because Elizaveta (Liza) is so well organized, passionate about teaching, patient, articulate. If you are interested, try a class with her. Trust me, you will thank me (and her) later. I’ve been taking lessons with Elizabeta and I’ve genuinely enjoyed every session. She’s extremely effective in the way she teaches, and I appreciate how patient she is when giving examples and guiding me through new concepts. She tailors each lesson to my level in a very thoughtful way, and the homework, interactive exercises, and encouragement to ask questions all help me build sentences with more confidence. Her teaching style is courteous, clear, and direct, which makes the lessons engaging and productive. I also really appreciate that she prefers using Zoom for classes — it creates a smooth and comfortable learning environment that works perfectly for me.
