hii! i'm julie, 26 years old and love languages! i learnt english and some french in school, and now working on my russian skills. i love reading and my favourite book is "amtmannens døtre" (1855) by camilla collett - okay my genre is just 1800's :))
i've studied two years of norwegian language and literature nerding in phonology, syntax, morphology but also poems and literature from the viking age though 1800's and modern time. additionally i've helped language exchange partners in both french and norwegian - online and in real life.教学经验
whether you know 0% norwegian or already slaying - i'll make sure your æ, ø, å's are perfect by guiding you through the treacherous language roads!
i truly believe that adult learners put too much pressure on themselves, and refusing to speak a word untill you know you can speak fluently. the problem however is that one cannot become fluent unless you go through the awkward phase of "i need a lot of pauses and know 4 nouns". i'm more than happy to be your friend to be there for you through the "uhmms" and "what is this called in norwegian?" :) 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
🩷beginner lessons: we'll get to know each other and whether you're starting at 0 or know a little bit already. i'll teach you what you need to start speaking norwegian. a casual fun way!
🩵intermediate-advanced lessons: these are conversational based, but i'll also provide suitable learning activities if needed. you'll need at least a beginner level (A2) where you can form sentences, but it's perfect if you struggle with finding words and takes pauses.
we can chat freely/on a topic or work on grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing etc. i'll fit the lesson after your needs :)5.0

Julie's awesome, love our lessons -She hit's my Norwegian level pretty damn well (A2/B1) & always ready to slow down/translate if things get a little too difficult to understand.
Great experience as well in tuning the ear to the (Ever charming) Bægen dylect as well.

Julie was very patient and understanding. Despite her Bergen dialect, I understood everything (although I've studied only Oslo dialect) and she was very nice. She also explained pronunciation errors I made. Så hyggelig å lære norsk med henne!

Insegnante TOP!il suo metodo di insegnamento è davvero efficace e perfettamente adatto alle mie esigenze. Non è mai scontata: riesce a rendere la lezione interessante, coinvolgente e già da subito ho imparato molto più di quanto mi aspettassi.Mi ha colpito la sua capacità di spiegare in modo chiaro, mantenendo sempre viva l’attenzione e includendo anche elementi di cultura e tradizioni norvegesi,un valore aggiunto enorme per chi vuole davvero entrare in contatto con la lingua.La consiglio assolutamente, anche a chi è alle prime armi: se la prima lezione è così, non vedo l’ora di continuare!
