Rafael Lino

I have taken quite a few classes with Rafael by now and he is still a wonderful teacher who doesn’t only know a lot about the linguistic part put also history and can explain the roots of Brazilian culture. Furthermore he has excellent movie recommendations! Much appreciated :) obrigado!

Learning a language always means navigating uncertain terrain: you lack the words, you're vaguely aware that you're constantly mangling the grammar, you fail to understand things you feel you should understand... It's no small feat, then, for a teacher to ease some of that insecurity and unblock you, and I'm happy to report that Rafael managed to do exactly that, while also coming prepared with a clear plan and structured material to move things forward on a more technical level.

This was my second lesson with Rafael and I like his style of teaching very much! He has prepared topics, writes everything down, is very open in the conversations and understands when I don’t know words and switch to english. I‘m gonna book another lesson right away!

Rafael continues to be an excellent teacher who is patient and can tailor lessons to his students’ needs and interests.
