I would highly recommend Silke. She takes you through all the information step by step and is very methodical about it and great at explaining things when they are difficult. She also corrects every mistake or mispronunciation and gives you ways to improve which is great for learning.

Outstanding professional. Silke let's nothing slip. If it's not 100%, she will let you know but in the nicest way possible. No room to form bad habits.

Silke is extremely thorough in her teaching: she stops you at every single tiny mistake, be it oral or written, and I believe this approach is very beneficial to prevent you from carrying bad pronunciation/grammar/etc. habits along with your improvements. She also uses German as language of instruction as early as possible, pushing you out of your comfort zone and encouraging you to speak in German since the very first class. The books she adopts is also well structured and effective for a 1-on-1 lesson (besides of course a few exercises clearly intended for a group class), and it is a good reference for grammar and vocabulary.
