I teach French in private lessons, and I'm also a philosophy teacher in high-school and at university.
Native speaker, with a classic metropolitan accent. Now on a sabbatical, living in London.
I love to share my culture, as much as I like discovering others.
I was originally trained as en engineer, then took a Master's degree in psychology and philosophy.教学经验
I like to make the lessons fun and interesting for both of us. Listening and speaking is always a great way to start, in a hands-on approach. I like every lesson to have a real-life topic, as well as specific linguistic objectives.
As a person, I'm very patient and focused on my students' needs. I try my best to understand what my students understand and where they need an explanation.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
First lesson: we will discuss your objectives, assess your starting point and determine how much time you can dedicate to learning French.
I will then build a tailored course-plan with an ad-hoc progression.
I like to use resources to support our lessons: videos, newspaper articles, works of art, etc.
I'm also used to writing down a summary of the language points on a shared document, so that you can come back to it in between lessons.我的教学资料

Alex is a very thoughtful and patient teacher. He clearly explains the subtleties of French in a way that makes sense to me and creates examples that help deepen my understanding. He puts me at ease with his friendliness and sense of humor and he is very encouraging when he gives feedback. Alex was able to pinpoint my struggles with pronunciation and created exercises to help me practice in a targeted way. I enjoy my classes with Alex a lot and feel my French is growing stronger every time.
