I cannot recommend learning Spanish with Mar enough. Her lessons haven taken me from barely being able to speak a word to comfortably having conversations that are genuinely interesting. The classes are always well structured and they follow a curriculum, Mar makes sure to use every minute of the class too. After class I get some optional homework to do. It’s very easy to talk to her and I’ve never been self conscious which has been so good for my speaking ability. I feel like I learn so much each lesson. I’ll be really sad when I finish her beginner course!

I 100% recommend Mar as a tutor for a beginner like myself. Mar is highly professional in her approach and the way she teaches students, using engaging and fun material to use in lessons. Most importantly, she helps you develop your Spanish language skills at a much faster pace than I expected. Lessons are planned in advance but Mar is more than happy to tailor lessons to your specific needs. For example, taking more time to review and practice what you have learnt, or by focusing on specific areas you feel weakest in. Each time developing exercises to help you. Thanks Mar!

I've been working with Mar for just over a year now and I cannot recommend her Spanish classes enough (and have done to anyone I know wanting to learn Spanish). Her classes are always well organised, structured and she has plenty of varying material to practise with. Her way of explaining difficult topics make them much more understandable and the homework always helps solidify the learning. Mar is also very flexible within her classes and happy to discuss any topics that arise and clarify any general questions. Most importantly Mar's classes are always fun; she is a very relaxed, patient and encouraging teacher who had me speaking Spanish every lesson and gave me so much confidence in my speaking ability which for me was the key skill I wanted. I've gone from a complete beginner in Spanish to someone who is able to hold a conversation and use my Spanish comfortably when travelling around South America and I am so grateful to Mar for helping me get there.
