Γεια σου! My name is Theodore and I live in Kavala, Greece. I am a certified, professional teacher and I have studied History and Ethnology along with Greek language and literature. When I am not playing the bouzouki, the traditional Greek instrument, or exploring my surroundings with my e-bike, I am teaching the Greek language by blending in Grammar, Vocabulary, everyday conversations, History, Culture and Fun. My lessons aren’t just grammar drills—they’re journeys through Greek myths, ancient philosophers and bouzouki rhythms. I am a really positive, energetic and patient person and I like to get to know new people and their interesting stories behind them! So, let's start! Πάμε!教学经验
I have studied History and Ethnology along with Greek language and literature, I have a teaching qualification and I have focused on intracultural education and History. I really like to come into contact with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. This way, I think I get a better understanding of myself and I feel I become better and better, both as a teacher and as a person, in general! I really enjoy communicating with my students, whether it is during the lesson or outside of it! I follow a holistic approach in my teaching method, which acknowledges the fact that the student is both a learner in progress and an individual person with his/her own needs! 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I focus on everyday language, as I believe that this is the best way in order to acquire a better understanding of the actual language itself and the people who are speaking it. Whether you’re a beginner or polishing fluency, I’ll tailor lessons to your needs. Learning through play (play-learning, as I call it) is the best way for the students to absorb and acquire the knowledge. I focus on structure (grammar, vocabulary, etc.), communication (speaking and having conversations with my students), History and Culture. I’ve been taking lessons with Theodoros for a few lessons now and I’m throughly enjoying them. He’s extremely organised and he is very passionate about what he’s teaching. I’m understanding things so much more clearly and he goes at a really nice pace. He plans the lessons very well. I’ll definitely be continuing my studies of the Greek language with him.
