Hi! My name is Alex. I’m 19 years old and a native English speaker from Yorkshire, England. I hold a CELTA certificate in teaching English to adults, and I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures. My passion for teaching sparked when I began working as a stallholder. I realised I genuinely enjoy communicating and explaining things to people, which then led me to my true calling: teaching! As a teacher, I’m friendly and patient. I aim to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and practising English without pressure. I like to make my lessons as student-centred and practical as possible, which means we'll focus on real-life examples and authentic materials to practise English as it's actually used. We’ll practise speaking as much as possible, while also improving listening, reading, and writing, so you can use English confidently in everyday situations.
