This beginner Dutch course is designed for students who want to start speaking Dutch in a clear, practical, and structured way. You don’t need any previous knowledge of the language.

From the very first lessons, you will learn how to use Dutch in everyday situations. The focus is on communication, while gradually building a solid foundation in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure.

You will learn how to:

Introduce yourself and talk about personal information
Ask and answer simple questions
Talk about daily routines, work, family, and free time
Order food and drinks, make plans, and handle basic conversations
Understand and form correct Dutch sentences with confidence
Grammar is explained step by step in a clear and practical way, always linked to real-life examples. Vocabulary is introduced by theme and immediately practiced through speaking, listening, reading, and short writing tasks.

Lessons are interactive and adapted to your pace and learning goals. There is a strong focus on active speaking, so you start using Dutch from the beginning, not just studying it.

By the end of the course, you will:

Understand and use basic Dutch in everyday situations
Feel more confident speaking and listening
Have a strong foundation to continue to A1/A2 level
This course is ideal for expats, travelers, partners of Dutch speakers, and anyone who wants to build a solid and enjoyable start with the Dutch language.

Beginner Dutch (A0 --> A1): ±35 hours total (depending on your learning pace, previous language experience, and practice outside the lessons).

Beginner Dutch Course: From Zero to Confident Basics

This course is designed for learners who already have a basic knowledge of Dutch and want to become more confident, accurate, and independent in everyday communication.
At A1 level, many students can form simple sentences but still hesitate when speaking or struggle with word order and verb forms. In the A1 → A2 course, the focus shifts from just forming sentences to using them more naturally and fluently in real situations.

You will learn how to:
Talk in more detail about yourself, your work, studies, and daily life
Describe experiences, plans, and habits
Handle conversations in shops, cafés, at work, and during appointments
Express preferences, reasons, and simple opinions
Ask follow-up questions and keep a short conversation going

Grammar is expanded in a clear and practical way, always linked to communication. You will systematically improve:
word order in main and subordinate clauses
past tense (OVT and VTT)
separable and inseparable verbs
comparison of adjectives
pronouns and prepositions
modal verbs and future constructions
common connectors and fixed expressions
Vocabulary grows by theme (work, travel, health, housing, social life), with continuous attention to natural phrasing and correct usage.
Lessons remain interactive and are adapted to your goals and pace. Speaking is central, supported by listening, reading, and short writing tasks to strengthen accuracy and confidence.

By the end of A2, you will:
Understand clear everyday Dutch at normal speed
Participate in short, natural conversations
Speak with more confidence and structure
Explain simple situations, experiences, and plans
Use Dutch more comfortably in daily life

This course is ideal for learners who want to move beyond basic survival Dutch and build a solid foundation for independent communication.

Duration: Dutch A1 → A2: ±40 hours total, depending on your learning pace, prior exposure to Dutch, and practice outside the lessons.

Functional Dutch Course: From Basic to Confident (A1 --> A2)

This course is designed for learners who can already manage everyday situations in Dutch and want to move towards more fluent, flexible, and independent communication.
The focus is on expanding what you can express, improving accuracy, and speaking with more ease and nuance.

You will learn how to:
Talk in detail about work, studies, experiences, and personal interests
Describe past events more accurately and naturally
Express opinions, preferences, and reasons
Explain problems, plans, and decisions
Participate in longer conversations and discussions
Grammar becomes more refined and functional. 

You will work on:
tense choice and consistency
complex word order and subordinate clauses
relative clauses
passive voice
separable and prefix verbs in different tenses
reported speech (simple forms)
connectors for structure and coherence
Vocabulary expands significantly, with attention to:
abstract topics and opinions
common work-related and social vocabulary
idiomatic expressions and fixed phrases

Lessons remain interactive and personalized. Speaking is central, but listening to authentic Dutch, reading short articles, and writing structured texts help you develop confidence and independence.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Understand the main points of clear standard Dutch
Participate in conversations at a normal speed
Express opinions and explain ideas with more detail
Handle most situations at work, while traveling, or in social settings
Communicate independently, even if mistakes still occur
This course is ideal for learners who want to move beyond controlled practice and build real-life communicative confidence in Dutch.

Duration: : ±45-50 hours total, depending on your learning pace, exposure to Dutch, and study outside of the classes.

Mastering Dutch: From Confident to Independent (A2-->B1)

Deze lessen zijn voor cursisten die zich al goed kunnen redden in het Nederlands, maar hun taalgebruik vloeiender, natuurlijker en rijker willen maken. We werken niet toe naar een nieuw niveau, maar focussen op beter leren spreken in het dagelijkse en professionele leven.

Veel cursisten op dit punt merken dat ze:
