Fun ducth tutor, with 3+ years of experience Hello there! My name is Gilrucia. I was born in a beautiful and culturally enriching country called Suriname that is located in South America. The experience of living in a so diverse environment contributed to my understanding that I really like languages and other cultures.
Besides teaching, I like reading, hiking, watching films, studying foreign languages and I also enjoy learning new cultures as well as how language binds people together. Personally, I believe that language is not only grammar but it is also a connection between individuals, narratives, and experiences.
I am an passionate Dutch tutor with more than 3+ years of experience . I have been teaching learners aged 6 to 43; complete beginners (A0) and between intermediate and upper-intermediate learners.
I am tolerant, organised and supportive. I know that all students learn differently, and therefore, I can always be able to adjust my lessons to accommodate your level, objectives, and approach to learning. I help you, providing a comfortable, safe environment, to express yourself, develop confidence not to be afraid of self-canons.
My lessons are structured but informal, and they are heavily communication-oriented and practical. I would incorporate grammar, vocabulary and conversational practice so that you can really practice what you study.
Either for work, relocation, school, or in exams and even just to have fun, I will guide you to move one step at a time and talk with the confidence in your voice.
