Over the years I have guided hundreds of students through the difficult patches of learning to speak English well. It's exciting to see people taking charge of their language study, becoming happy and not stuck in the frustrations of the past. There are times in language study when every learner hits a wall or reaches a plateau which seems to go on forever. I'm certain that an immersion in the language, in a "real world" context is what creates the mental shift for my students. I'm delighted to be a part of that shift.教学经验
I work with students of all ages and levels who are active, motivated and interested in making real progress in their use of the best spoken English. Language is a bridge between people which allows us to understand each other well! To that end, I guide my students towards expressing themselves very clearly and creatively, with an emphasis on the rhythm and flow of the language. I consider myself to be a coach to my students, in that, I actively listen, engage and respond, while patiently correcting and explaining any mistakes in grammar or pronunciation. Over my 9+ years of teaching on italki, I have learned what works, and what doesn't work in progressing conversational skill. Keeping the lessons based in what is most interesting and useful for individual learners , at that moment in their lives, is the key to success. Let's find what works for you!
My aim is to guide students towards expressing themselves very well in a modern, real English, with the natural rhythm of the sounds and phrasing, which can only be gained by working conversationally. Each lesson is the student's time to have fun and to enjoy the challenge of plunging into the world of expressive English conversation! The only homework is to commit and jump in!5.0
