Hello! I’m a qualified British teacher with over 20 years of experience in both classroom and online education. I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK and a CELTA certification.
I specialise in delivering clear, structured, and engaging English lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum for primary and secondary students. I also provide expert IELTS and Cambridge English exam preparation (KET, PET, FCE, CAE, and CPE), helping learners gain confidence and achieve their target results. My lessons are fully personalised to each student’s goals, learning style, and interests.教学经验
My lessons are designed to help students build confidence in their target language while enjoying a supportive, relaxed learning environment. Each lesson is carefully tailored to individual needs and goals, with regular feedback and homework to track progress and reinforce learning.

I was totally desperate for my English when I started taking lessons with Katie.
Now, I feel the confidence (I still have mistake though), I've progressed a lot in the past three months. I really have.
I don't hesitate when I have to speak with foreign people, I can attend meetings and share opinion on different topics.
I don't see the IELTS exam as a monster anymore, but as a bridge to more oppurtinities in the world. It's all thanks to Katie, and her teaching style. Thank you for having me as a student! :)

Katharine's lessons are so dynamic that time flies and you regret not having booked a 1,5h class. She prepares good materials to keep the class interesting, along with effective activities to encourage you to speak and actively participate. If it is something you appreciate, on many occasions she may also ask you to choose the topic of the lesson.
Something I totally enjoyed is have the chance to discuss topics in-depth so that I could learn and use some advanced vocabulary, which is not often the case when you hang out with foreign friends.
I'll cross my fingers for the Cambridge exam!
