Hi! My name is Dasha. I am a teacher, traveler and language enthusiast! I live in Tokyo the city of neon lights, amazing restaurants and incredibly polite people. Before I moved to the Land of the Rising Sun I lived and worked in Saint Petersburg. For the past 3 years I have been sharing my time between these two wonderful locations in order to complete my course in psychology of negotiation. My latest hobbies taken up during lockdown are photography and cooking.教学经验
I have been teaching Russian for over 10 years now working with diverse learners of all levels. My students are language enthusiasts and business people who need Russian for work. Among my corporate gigs are Sumitomo Forestry and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. I am greatly passionate about my profession, and I like helping others to improve their Russian. I’m interested in many different topics, and I’m happy to focus on my learners’ goals. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
In my lessons I use a variety of materials (textbooks, online resources... ). My teaching style is very flexible. However, creating my lessons I try to consider the following:
- strong grammatical foundation is important, where as well as learning what to say, you learn why you say it. Without this, you will find it very difficult to progress beyond 'phrase-book' Russian, where you can communicate in only a few set situations – with little chance of understanding the response.
- practical models to illustrate grammar in action.
- focus primarily on the spoken language through conversation and oral drilling.我的教学资料

Dasha was was professional and patient and was quickly able to identify exactly which areas of my Russian needed improving. In addition to the face-to-face tutoring she has provided me with excellent materials and direction for independent study. Looking forward to the next lesson.

Dasha was great. For the first time ever in my Russian career, I was told to just talk and make mistakes. My Russian speaking anxiety might just go away with her as a teacher. She is knowledgeable, kind, and entertaining. She was not there to make anything stressful and we had a good time chatting and getting to know each other and my goals, with some sporadic Russian narrations in between.

A great guide that I needed. We were able to define a pick up point (post grasp on gender). Based on her goals, she makes rapid language acquisition a realistic target.
