Hi! My name is Cameron and I am an English Community Tutor on italki. I am from the United States, but I currently live in Japan. I came to Japan earlier this year because I fell in love with different aspects of the culture (such as sumo and anime and I have even picked up on the habit of drinking Japanese tea). And I absolutely love the sound of the Japanese language! Everyday is an opportunity to learn, to grow, to share, so please join me. We can learn from each other!

教学经验

I have taught students in English conversation, essay writing, and reading comprehension. If you simply want to work on speaking, then we can talk and I can help you with your English. If you need help with essay writing, then I can read through your essay and fix errors while also providing advice on how to make your essay sound better. If you want to improve your reading, I have a variety of books at my disposal that we can read. We can also use online reading materials or materials that you choose yourself. Finally, if you have an upcoming interview, I can assist you with interview preparation and I can give you advice to help you succeed in your interview.

My goal is to have an open and relaxed learning environment where you tell me what you need help with and I do what I can to assist you. What we do on any given day may differ. It depends on the student. I can prepare specific materials for follow-up lessons to continue to solidify what we learned before. That way we are building on previous lessons and becoming stronger English language users. Or each day can be something new!
