I am a Native English speaker living in Central America. I am a Certified teacher, and I have taught students from China, to Poland, to Brazil.... I am also a language learner, so I understand the difficulties that come along with learning a foreign language. I am a published science fiction author, and I love to speculate about the unknown. As a teacher, my main goal is to get you speaking as much as possible by introducing new vocabulary, and using it in real time. I will also help you with pronunciation and accent reduction.

I offer one on one, and group lessons based on availability. As a teacher, I try to use a variety of tools. In my experience, learning through context is the most effective way to process and retain language patterns. wonderful lesson, the topic being discussed was both challenging and inspiring to me. I talked a lot and heard a lot of US specifics as well, what was pretty interesting. The more lessons I take with Jean the more I'm confident that was a the best choice I could ever made.

After a few months of studying with Jean, I see a significant improvement in language skills. Now I can easily use English at work and actively participate in international conferences. I can focus more on what I want to say, not on how to say it :-)
