Hey, I’m Jonny from Brighton, England—TEFL-certified with 10+ years of teaching adults worldwide. By day, I help students smash language goals; by night, I make lofi beats ([mrsilkyslofibeats.com] and blast ACDC.
My lessons groove like a great playlist—dynamic, fun, and full of real-world chat. Think punk energy meets laid-back lofi vibes. Whether it’s sports, history, or travel, we’ll talk *your* passions.

I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate and have over ten years of teaching experience, including five years on Italki. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching children and adults in China, Spain, Slovakia, and Italy.
I've provided lessons in grammar, pronunciation, and conversation to groups ranging from two to thirty pupils, as well as one-on-one sessions.
I became a teacher nine years ago to seek more meaningful and rewarding experiences. Before that, I worked in pubs and clubs worldwide, but found it unfulfilling.

A very nice experience. I took an mock IELTS speaking test with Jonny. I used to be quite nervous under the pressure. But this time Jonny helped me be relaxed, which was a real boost in my performance. Besides, I got some useful suggestions and found my week spot, which is the part2. Thanks to Jonny again for being such a nice, patient and encouraging teacher!
