If you want to learn Italian the right way, go with a professional teacher like Clemente, he is a renowned journalist and very aware and updated on the language and the correct way of speaking. Plus, he will also let you in on certain ways of speaking that may not be correct but are often used. Either way, he is the best! Davvero!

A great first class! It was a real pleasure talking with Clemente. We only did conversation, so he could assess my level and talked about my previous language learning experience, places I have visited in Italy, my motivation to learn Italian and how to proceed with the classes. He spoke very clearly and at the right speed, so I could understand him perfectly. I liked that he only spoke Italian and this way making me try harder to express myself in Italian as well. When I occasionally threw in a Spanish word, he would understand and correct me. He corrected in a way that the flow of speech wasn't interrupted and I learnt a couple of useful expressions. Clemente was very patient and encouraging and gave me the motivating feeling of already being able to hold an actual conversation in Italian instead of just stuttering. Clemente is the best. When I started last year, my ability to speak Italian was limited and I was often too shy to say the little I knew how. There is no magical way to learn a language overnight, but with his help and direction, it's taken me less than a year to become quite conversational, and certainly much more comfortable. If you are serious about learning, study with him. He'll get you to where you want to be and you'll have a good laugh along the way.
